The University Laboratory School welcomed Tsukuba University Elementary School (Japan) students and teachers on August 26-27, 2019. The 19 Gr. 4 students from Tsukuba University Elementary School participated in a physical education class with PE Teacher, Mr. Howard and the Gr. 4-5 ULS students, learned hula from Kumu Alison Hartle and the high school Hula & Chant elective class, and shared their Japanese culture lessons with our Gr. 6 and Gr. 11 students. They also joined our middle and high school students for lunch to converse and play games. It was a wonderful experience for our students and the Tsukuba students!
