Seeking Sustainability with Nihon University High School

ULS students shared ideas for global sustainability with more than 30 students from Nihon University High School during their visit, Sept. 30. Both groups of students presented actionable steps to achieve one of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), goals agreed to by United Nations Member States in 2015. These goals include achieving responsible consumption and production, taking care of marine life, and gender equality. After the presentations all students brainstormed in smaller groups and agreed to another goal to sustain: keeping in touch with each other while working toward change.
