ULS Celebrates Spooky Season

ULS got into the spooky season with a fun week of activities! Students and staff participated in pumpkin painting, spirit week, costume parades and ended with our super fun Halloween assembly. Mahalo to the ULS Student Body Government for planning these activities and bringing our school community together!

ULS HOSA Raising Awareness

Mahalo to the ULS HOSA club for their efforts to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer. The ULS community joined in on the “Wear Pink Wednesdays” campaign and helped raise money for cancer research by purchasing pink ribbons and handmade bracelets and keychains. As a show of support,

ULS Turns Orange for Unity Day

Students, faculty and staff participated in Unity Day on Wednesday, October 16 by wearing orange! Unity Day aligns with ULS’ initiatives of acceptance and inclusion as we work together to be the change. Students and staff posed in front of our “Be the I in Kind” unity poster to promote 

All Aboard the Mighty Mo

Our 4th and 5th grade students had a great time on the Battleship Missouri! Students learned about navigation using the stars, stories, and modern-day equipment to understand how wayfinders travel the globe. The trip was an opportunity for the students to take what they learned in the classroom and apply 

Campus Beautification and HI-5 Recycling Day

ULS was made cleaner and greener during the Campus Beautification and Hi-5 Recycling Day held on Sept. 28.  Students, faculty, staff and parents/families volunteered to help with beautification projects and recycling.
