2025 ULS P‘INA

Aloha Students, Parents, Faculty, Alumni, and Supporters of ULS: University Laboratory School (ULS) will be holding its annual Pā‘ina on our campus from 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025.  Come and spend some time with the ULS ‘Ohana as we celebrate the 2025 Pā‘ina with great food, a talent showcase 

Institute Day and Presidents’ Day Holiday – No School!

Roses are red, violets are blue, we love our amazing school! Remember, there is no school on Friday. February 14 is Institute Day and Feb. 17 is Presidents’ Day. We’re back on Tuesday, February 18. See you then!

Admissions Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year

2025 ULS Homecoming Week – January 21-25, 2025 Homecoming Games  – Saturday, 1/25/2025 Location: McKinley High School Gym Game 1 at 1pm Girls Varsity vs. Sacred Hearts Academy ULS Cheer Team will perform during halftime of the girls game. Game 2 at 2:30pm Boys Varsity vs. Mid Pacific Institute ULS

Engineering presentation by HWEA/AWWA Young Professionals

On April 4th, ULS alum, Gianne Constantino (c/o 2017) came with the HWEA/AWWA Young Professionals colleagues to discuss waste water management projects and the field of engineering with interested ULS students. It was a great opportunity for current ULS students to see what it possible for them after high school. 

State Capitol Field Trip

On April 1, 2025, ULS Student Council members and Student Body Government officers took a field trip to the State Capitol. They were invited by District 22 Representative, Andrew Takuya Garrett, who also led them on a tour of the capitol. Making this trip extra special was getting to talk 

Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair (HSSEF)

Congratulations to our student scientists for competing against the top projects at the Hawai‘i State Science & Engineering Fair and coming back to the University Laboratory School with awards!  The following is the list of awards earned by each student scientist! 🌱 Anaya G. Junior Science and Humanities Symposium 2025

Congratulations to the high school Science Research students who did an amazing job at Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) back in January 2025 in Hilo, HI, giving 12-minute oral presentations on their research to the judges, other students, and teachers. Kian S. (12) – 2nd Overall; will represent ULS 

Honolulu District Science & Engineering Fair (HonSEF)

A huge congratulations to our student scientists for being promoted to States from the Honolulu District Fair. They will compete against the top projects at the Hawaiʻi State Science & Engineering Fair on April 1st-2nd. Kian S. placed 1st for the THIRD year in a row, securing a spot at
