Pre-service elementary English language students from Bukkyo University in Kyoto, Japan visited our elementary and sixth grade classes on Thursday, February 20. After the visit, the group had an opportunity to talk with our elementary teachers and counselors to learn more about our unique academic program and learning environment at ULS. They were very grateful for the opportunity and shared positive comments about their experience, namely seeing how engaged and immersed the students were in their learning. This visit is part of ULS’ long standing partnership with the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa – College of Education.
