The University Laboratory School welcomed Tsukuba University Elementary School (Japan) students and teachers on March 27-28, 2024. The 36 Gr. 4 students from Tsukuba University Elementary School observed and participated in a special ULS music class, Hawaiian cultural activity, hula from the high school Hula & Chant elective class, and activities by the high school Elective, Japanese II, Hula and Chant students.
The Tsukuba University Elementary School students also shared Japanese culture lessons with our Gr. 4-5 and high school students. It was a wonderful experience for our students and the Tsukuba students!
