The Hawaii Department of Education shared the 2016-17 Strive HI Performance System results at the Board of Education community meeting Tuesday evening. The accountability system includes multiple measures of school performance including proficiency in Science, Math and Language Arts/Literacy; chronic absenteeism; graduation rates; and achievement gaps.
University Laboratory School ranked first in the state for having the highest graduation rates.
University Laboratory School also topped the list with the highest percentage of students enrolling in college.
